Quickdraw: The Mary Onettes, Steady Holiday, El Ten Eleven, Tony Molina, Mitski

Enjoy.

The Mary Onettes – Cola Falls

The Mary Onettes are now on Cascine (instead of Labrador, their long-time home) and they’ve released a two-song single.  I haven’t heard the b-side, but the main tune is fantastic.

Steady Holiday – Nobody’s Watching

Steady Holiday will be putting out a new album, Nobody’s Watching, on August 24.  The first single is a real charming slice of indie pop.

El Ten Eleven – You Are Enough

The post-rock fan in me is chomping at the bit to get a hold of El Ten Eleven’s upcoming album, Banker’s Hill (due August 10).  The singles released so far have been rad (here’s the previous one).

Tony Molina – Wrong Town

Here’s the latest super short but very good track from Tony Molina.  I remain excited about his upcoming album, Kill The Lights (due July 27).

Mitski – Nobody

The rather dramatic first single off of Mitski’s upcoming album, Be The Cowboy (due August 17), is really good, but this dance-worthy track is worlds better.  So infectious!

Steady Holiday is a keeper. I think the Mary Onettes peaked with “Lost” in 2007.
