The War On Drugs – Living Proof

I can’t believe it’s been just four years since the last War On Drugs album – it certainly feels way longer. In any case, I Don’t Live Here Anymore will be out on October 29. This first single is beautiful.

PS – If you’re in Austin, the band is set to play ACL Live on January 28-29.

Soccer Mommy – Rom Com 2004

This one-off single is a nice mix of expected and unexpected sounds from Soccer Mommy. I’m into it.

Mono – Riptide

If you’ve been around SOTO long enough, then you know I’m always in for new music from Mono. The post rock act’s 11th album, Pilgrimage Of The Soul, will be out September 17. Jump on this epic single.

Deerhoof – Department Of Corrections

Deerhoof have announced their 18th (!) album, Actually, You Can, and it’s due out October 22. I appreciate that they still sound as kinetic as ever.

Indigo De Souza – Hold U / Kill Me

Here’s a couple of really engaging and interesting tracks from Indigo De Souza. Her new album, Any Shape You Take, is set to be released on August 27.

TOPS – Party Again

This is such an effortlessly enjoyable pop tune from TOPS. It’s also the perfect track to put out alongside a tour announcement – see all the stops here. Side note, for those of you that are Austin-based, the band is going to play the Mohawk on October 22.

Nilufer Yanya – Day 7.5093 (KeiyaA Remix)

Nilufer Yanya has assembled some re-imaginings of the tracks that made up last year’s Feeling Lucky? EP, and they’re coming out on August 18. This one from KeiyaA is super slick.

Low – Disappearing

Hey look, it’s another distorted work of art from Low. I have a feeling I’m going to be weirdly obsessed with their upcoming album, Hey What (due out September 10).
