Friends! Here’s the SOTW pick a day early so that I can properly plug Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks tomorrow night at the Mohawk! My immense love for Malkmus’ Pavement days alone would make me go to this gig, but thankfully his work with The Jicks is also really good. I actually think their latest album, Sparkle Hard, may be their best – it’s fantastic from start to finish. See you at the show!
Tix are $20 in advance, $25 the day of the show. The great Soccer Mommy is set to open.
