Quickdraw: The Bug Club, Daughter Of Swords, Deep Sea Diver, The Men, Deafheaven

Enjoy.

The Bug Club – Have You Ever Been 2 Wales

The Bug Club put out one of my favorite albums last year – the infinitely infectious On The Intricate Inner Workings Of The System – and now they’re delighting me with this unsurprisingly catchy new tune. I’m for sure going to have see them when they’re in Austin to play the 29th St. Ballroom on April 4.

Daughter Of Swords – Money Hits

The next Daughter Of Swords album, Alex, isn’t out until April 11 but I really want to hear it now – the last couple of singles have been some of the best indie pop I’ve heard so far this year. Here’s also hoping a tour announcement isn’t far off.

Deep Sea Diver – What Do I Know

If you’re need of a pick me up today, then look no further than this energetic effort from Deep Sea Diver, who will be releasing their new album, Billboard Heart, tomorrow, February 28.

The Men – Charm

The final (and best, I think) single from The Men’s new album, Buyer Beware, is here to remind you that the LP is out tomorrow, February 28.

Deafheaven – Heathen

A lot of Deafheaven fans didn’t seem to care for the shoegazy, dreamy Infinite Granite, but I absolutely loved the album and still listen to it regularly. This new track is from the band’s upcoming album, Lonely People With Power (due out March 28), and it feels like a balance between what I liked from their last effort and what people prefer from their earlier days, so that’s nice.
