Real Estate – Paper Cup

This is one groovy track from Real Estate.  Not that I haven’t been into what they’ve been churning out all these years, but it’s good to hear them do something different.  Their new album, The Main Thing, will be released on February 28.

Torres – Dressing America

The new Torres album is titled Silver Tongue, and it’s due out on January 31.  Admittedly, I haven’t been particularly attached to the other singles off of the LP, but this one sparkles and I can’t get it out of my head.  By the way, go see her at 3TEN on April 9.

Dan Deacon – Become A Mountain

I sure love the way this track builds and swells.  Dan Deacon’s new album, Mystic Familiar will be out on January 31.  Here’s hoping he comes to Austin soon – his live show is something else.
