Somewhere along the way I missed out on the news that The New Pornographers have a new album, In The Morse Code Of Brake Lights, coming on September 27.  That’s exciting!  This single is total ear candy.

That Dog – If You Didn’t Just Do It

That Dog (or that dog. if you prefer how the band writes it) are set to put out their first album in 22 years – it’s called Old LP and it’ll be released on October 4.  I’m honestly not super familiar with this act, but they sound like they still think its the 90s, so I’m all about them being back.

DIIV – Taker

DIIV’s new album, Deceiver, will be out on October 4.  Grab your headphones before you hit play on this one, as it’s shoegazey and heavy and should be allowed to rattle around in your head.  The band is set to play the Mohawk on October 14.
