Show Of The Week
I’ve got some “work” shows this week that are going to be great (see below), but I’m really looking forward to Shonen Knife at 3TEN on Sunday. They’re just one of those bands that are super fun to watch. Also, they formed in 1981! That’s two years before I was born, which is just crazy to me. Anyways, let’s all wrap our weekend with Japan’s Shonen Knife + Austin’s Ringo Deathstarr. Tix are $21.50 in advance, $25 the day of.
SIDE NOTE, here are the two shows I’m working this week that you should have your eye on, too.
The first gig is WhiskyX at Fair Market on Friday. This is a whisky tasting that will also feature a full performance by St. Paul and The Broken Bones. It’ll be a blast!
The second is a 101X Homegrown Live on Saturday at Hotel Vegas with four fantastic local acts – Otis The Destroyer, Billy King And The Bad Bad Bad, The Mammoths and Lola Tried. This will be a blast as well!
