Metric – Dark Saturday

I saw Metric open for the Smashing Pumpkins last night and I thought they sounded great.  New tune is a solid rocker.  The band’s seventh full length will be out on September 21.

Lala Lala – Destroyer

Lala Lala just signed to Hardly Art and announced a new album, The Lamb (due September 28).  There’s some real sharp songwriting on display in the first single.  I’m into it.

The Beths – Great No One

The Beths are now responsible for two of my favorite songs released this year.  I can’t wait to check out their new album, Future Me Hates Me (due August 10).

Black Belt Eagle Scout – Soft Stud
