White Denim

White Denim are by far my favorite band in Austin, so yesterday was a great time for me.  I got to see them play KGSR’s Blues On The Green, and they put out the first single from their upcoming Jeff Tweedy-produced album.  Jump below and give it a listen.  Corsicana Lemonade is due October 29 via Downtown Records.  The band is set for both weekends of ACL.  Enjoy.

:White Denim – Pretty Green:  Some of you will probably disagree with me on this, but I love how these guys keep refining their sound.  Every release gets a little bigger and a bit more accessible.  It’s great.  On another note, this song has moments that remind me of The Black Keys.
