Show Of The Week

Molly Burch is playing Barracuda this Saturday!  Normally, I’d tell you to go see her simply because she’s one of my favorite artists in Austin right now, but this particular performance is of a bit more importance since it’s a part of the inaugural Safer Venues Fest, which is meant to raise awareness on safety concerns in the Red River Cultural District.  If you’re a regular show-goer (likely, since you’re reading this column), then this is a cause you should get out and support.  You can get more info on SVF in this article I did for CultureMap (it also has a lot of local show recommendations for this month).

Tix are $15.  Christelle Bofale and Sleep Good will open.  By the way, the rest of the SVF shows happening this Saturday are listed down below.
