Karen O & Danger Mouse – Super Breath

Karen O & Danger Mouse are re-issuing their one and only album, Lux Prima, and putting out a 7″ that includes this new track and their excellent cover of Lou Reed’s Perfect Day. You should buy both releases. Also, I’m hoping this means they’re planning another album together.

Dummy – Nine Clean Nails

Dummy’s sophomore album, Free Energy, is set to come out on September 6. Here’s a driving, easy-to-like single that’s certainly worth your time, especially if you’re a fan of Automatic.

Envy – Beyond The Raindrops

This track from Envy is just about as big as it gets – slap on some nice headphones and let it sweep you away. The band will release an album titled Eunoia on October 11.

Hinds – Superstar

The lead up to this new Hinds album has lasted for seemingly all of 2024 and it’s somehow still a month away from being released. In any case, this is the best single from it so far – it starts a little slow but really swells into something great. Viva Hinds is due out September 6.

Enumclaw – Not Just Yet

Here’s a grunge-leaning delight from Enumclaw, who will put out their new album, Home In Another Life, on August 30.
