Quickdraw: SOAK, Ex-Void, And So I Watch You From Afar, Toro Y Moi, Tove Lo

Enjoy.

SOAK – Last July

If I Never Know You Like This Again is the title of the new SOAK (aka Bridie Monds-Watson) album that’s set to be released on May 20. This track soars, largely due to how comfortable and confident Monds-Watson sounds on it.

Ex-Void – Churchyard

Ex-Void, which features Joanna Gruesome singers Lan McArdle and Owen Williams, have put together a debut album – it’s called Bigger Than Before and will be out on March 25. Here’s an absolutely infectious number from the band.

And So I Watch You From Afar – IV In Air

Hit play for the oddly alluring voice over that’s at the start of this track, but stay for the immaculate instrumental work that fills the rest of it. And So I Watch You From Afar will release Jettison on February 18.

Toro y Moi – Postman / Magazine

I’ve revisited these two Toro y Moi (aka Chaz Bear) tracks quite a lot in the little time that I’ve had them – they’re both just so damn entertaining and well produced. Bear’s new album, MAHAL, is due out April 29.

Tove Lo – How Long

Here’s Tove Lo’s contribution to the soundtrack for season two of Euphoria. It is, of course, a total banger.
