Mogwai – Dry Fantasy

The arrival of Mogwai’s 10th album, As The Love Continues, and the band’s 25th anniversary are both set for February 19, which is pretty nifty. By the way, you should toss on some headphones before you hit play on this synthy gem.

Deftones – Knife Prty (Purity Ring Remix)

The original version of this track is really tough to beat, but there’s a slickness to Purity Ring’s take that works for me. Black Stallion is the title of the Deftones’ White Pony remix album, and it’s due out on December 11.

Smut – Fan Age

Here’s a nice slice of 90s-inspired indie rock from Smut. The band will release their new EP, Power Fantasy, on November 20.
