Quickdraw: The Streets, Cults, Whitney, Bully, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets

Enjoy.

The Streets – None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive (Featuring Joe Talbot of Idles)

The recent Streets singles didn’t do a lot for me, but this collab with Idles’ Joe Talbot is rather clever and pretty dang catchy. None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive is available now.

Cults – No Risk

Here’s another winner off of Cults’ upcoming album, Host (due September 18). By the way, if you missed the band’s livestream performance for Lollapalooza, you should check it out.

Whitney – Strange Overtones (David Byrne and Brian Eno Cover)

Whitney’s collection of covers, Candid, is set to be released next week (August 14). These guys are always super laid back, so I like that this particular track has a bit of get-up to it.

Bully – Hours And Hours

Few people craft three-minute-ish rockers as well as Bully’s Alicia Bognanno. The act’s sure-to-be-great new album, SUGAREGG, is almost here – it’ll be out on August 21.

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets – Mr. Prism

This new one from Psychedelic Porn Crumpets is a total (and much needed) surge of pure energy. Side note, it sounds like the band plans to put out an album early next year – I assume this track will be on it.
