It took me a moment come around on the recent Doves single, but this driving new one got me right away. Consider me excited for their freshly announced album, The Universal Want (out September 11).

Cults – Trials

The new Cults album has officially been announced – it’s titled Host and will be released on September 18. The band is sounding more mature and interesting than ever before, and I’m really into it.

Tkay Maidza – Don’t Call Again (Featuring Kari Faux)

Tkay Maidza’s Shook is a raucous delight and one of my favorite songs of the summer. More of the same here would have been cool, but I also appreciate the total change in speed. The Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 2 EP will be out on August 7.

Surprise! Illuminati Hotties just announced that they’re putting out a new album titled FREE IH: This Is Not The One You’ve Been Waiting For this Friday. This quick burst of a single is 100% aggressive and rad.
