Australia’s own Tkay Maidza just signed to 4AD, which is a pretty interesting fit considering the other artists on their roster (The National, Big Thief, Aldous Harding, etc). In any case, I think her first single for the label is super catchy.

The Beths – I’m Not Getting Excited

The latest gem from The Beths has some kick to it! I really can’t wait for their new album, Jump Rope Gazers (due July 10).

Jade Hairpins – Dolly Dream

Jade Hairpins consists of Fucked Up’s Jonah Falco and Mike Haliechuk, and their debut effort, Harmony Avenue, is due out May 29. This song reminds me of the band Reptar.

Thao & The Get Down Stay Down – Pure Cinema
