Just as I posited last week, Cursive do have a new album all ready and set to go – it’s called Get Fixed and it’ll be out on October 11.  Exciting!  Don’t miss the band at the Mohawk on November 22.

Bodega – Knife On The Platter

Bodega have a seven-track mini album, Shiny New Model, that’s going to be released on October 11.  I think the latest single is a real catchy slice of post-punk.

Here’s the latest infectious gem from Lisa Prank.  It’s off of her upcoming album, Perfect Love Song, which is out this Friday!  Side note, she’s playing Hotel Vegas on November 21.

Pendant – Through A Coil

Pendant is the latest addition to the Tiny Engines roster, and they’ll be putting out their Melina Duterte (of Jay Som)-produced debut, Through A Coil, in November.  The title track here is an atmospheric indie rock gem.

Broken Bells – Good Luck

Just the other day I had a random thought about Broken Bells (Danger Mouse + James Mercer), and now here they are with a new song.  Weird.  Anyways, this is so expertly crafted – put on headphones!
