I think this might be the best cover of Dancing In The Dark that I’ve ever come across.  Lucy Dacus is a gem.  Side note, she put this song out in celebration of Bruce Springsteen’s birthday.

Chris Farren – Surrender (Featuring Adult Mom)

Here’s the second single off of Chris Farren’s impending album, Born Hot (due out on October 11).  It’s a sad one but a good one.

Angel Olsen – Lark

Wow.  This is one massive, stunning and attention-commanding effort from Angel Olsen.  Her new album, All Mirrors, is due out on October 4.  Olsen will play Stubb’s (as a part of Levitation) on November 7.
