If you’re not sitting on much cash and you’d like to see a great rock show, then definitely hit Lee Bains III And The Glory Fires at Hole In The Wall tomorrow (Thursday) night. It’s only $7 in advance/$10 the day of, and the band will undoubtedly give you a show to remember. Also, the bill features five other acts – Sharks In The Deep End, Daphne Tunes, Hong Kong Wigs, Indoor Creature and The Irons. What a deal.
If you’ve got the funds, then I don’t know why you wouldn’t consider Jawbreaker at ACL Live on Sunday. Not only are they one of the best punk bands ever, but who knows how long they’ll keep this reunion of theirs going, so you have to see them while you can. Bully is set to open here. Tickets are $45-$55.
PS – Shout out to Mobley. My very own 101X Homegrown is presenting his show at Cheer Up Charlie’s on Saturday. He’s going to actually sign his record deal on that night, which is pretty neat. It’s SOLD OUT, so hopefully you already got a ticket.
