Jeanines – Winter In The Dark

Jeanines are set to release their self titled debut album on June 14.  If the rest of it is anything like the melancholic but upbeat gem here, then it’s going to be a real winner.

Generationals – I Turned My Back On The Written Word

I wasn’t all that into this track when I first heard it, but its bizarro Vampire Weekend sound has grown on me.  Generationals will release Reader As Detective on July 19.

Crumb – Ghostride

My level of anticipation for Crumb’s debut album, Jinx (due June 14), continues to grow.  I really like the way their tunes glide through my headphones.
