The Rite Flyers (Jennifer)

Led by John Clayton and Steve Collier, Austin’s power pop quartet The Rite Flyers are back with a new album, Electromode, which will be released this weekend on Record Store Day.  Songs like Postcards highlight their signature sound of jangly, crunchy guitar riffs and soaring harmonies.

You can beat the Record Store Day crowds and pick up a copy of their album at the release party this Friday at The ABGB with Li’l Cap’n Travis. You can also catch them do an in-store set at Waterloo Records on April 24. As a longtime fan, I can hardly wait to hear their first full length album since their self titled 2004 debut. Cheers to new tunes in the springtime!
