Throwback Thursday: Danger Doom

For this week’s Throwback Thursday we’re heading back to 2005 for Danger Doom’s The Mouse And The Mask.  If you didn’t indulge in this one, Danger Doom was a collaboration between Danger Mouse and MF Doom, and all of the songs on the album were related to Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.  During those days that late night block of programming was pretty much all I watched, so whenever I listen to The Mouse And The Mask I immediately get nostalgic.

By the way, this is technically a multi-layered TBT.  Not only do you get to revisit a great album with fantastic songs like Benzi Box, The Mask, and Mince Meat, but you also get to flashback to shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman – Attorney At Law, Space Ghost Coast To Coast and lots more.  You’re welcome.
