Little Lo, Genuine Leather (Jennifer)
Austin indie rock outfit Little Lo debuted a new track last week. It’s from their first full length album, Verberation View, which they’ve spent more than two years of recording. The track hooks you with its pulsing rhythm and keeps you entranced with its dual harmonies along with its blend of pounding keys, crashing cymbals, and razor sharp guitar riffs. You can hear more of their new tunes when they perform this Saturday at Speak’s Pedals Release Party at Empire Control Room and Garage.

It’s no secret that some of the folks at SOTO (myself included) are big fans of Genuine Leather. They make guitar centered pop music that is endlessly appealing and enjoyable. Their songs are perfect for singing along and getting stuck in your head. Their second album, Losers, is out tomorrow (and available now as a full stream here). Their live shows are rollicking and infectious; the members are also easy to spot (these gentlemen are dressed in white from head to toe including their white Converse high tops). You can catch them this Saturday at The Blackheart.
