Childish Gambino – Lithonia

This emo-y number from Childish Gambino didn’t quite land for me at first, but I quickly came around – it’s just too dramatic (and fun) to not like. The final Childish Gambino album is titled Bando & The New World and it’s due out July 19. By the way, if you’re in Austin, he’s playing the Moody Center on September 10.

Suki Waterhouse – Supersad

Suki Waterhouse has been steadily dropping singles throughout 2024, and now she’s announced a double album, Memoir Of A Sparklemuffin (due out September 13). Jump on the latest infectious tune from it here. Also, Austin-based folks, she’s playing ACL Live (with Bully) on October 18.

Pom Pom Squad – Downhill

Things have been fairly quiet on the Pom Pom Squad front since 2021’s Death Of A Cheerleader, so hopefully the release of this alt-pop number means they’re gearing back up.
