Quickdraw: Fontaines D.C., Dutch Interior, Crack Cloud, Horse Jumper Of Love, Why Bonnie

Enjoy.

Fontaines D.C. – Favourite / Starburster

The arrival of a new Fontaines D.C. single also serves as an opportunity for me to post Starburster, which I missed on sharing when it dropped back in April. On a related note, why is the lead up to the release of Romance so, so long? The album isn’t due out until August 23! Either way, both tracks are great and I’m expecting the LP to be a winner.

Dutch Interior – Ecigs

Dutch Interior have joined the Fat Possum roster and released a single to celebrate the occasion. Before you hit playing on this swirling six-minute number, you should toss on a nice pair of headphones.

Crack Cloud – The Medium

I just got sent an advance of Crack Cloud’s highly anticipated album, Red Mile (July 26), and I’m about to spend so much time with it. While I do that, you should jam this stellar new single.

Horse Jumper Of Love – Snow Angel

These new Horse Jumper Of Love songs continue to be so easy to get lost in. Their fifth album, Disaster Trick, will be out on August 16. Also, for those in Austin, you can see the band at the Parish on October 1.

Why Bonnie – Fake Out

Indie rock act Why Bonnie have a new album on the way – Wish On The Bone is due out August 30. I’ve been a big fan of theirs for a long time (they were once based in Austin) and I love seeing the continued growth of singer/songwriter Blair Howerton.
