Horsegirl – Anti-glory
I was wondering if Horsegirl would drop a new track before making their SXSW debut, and here it is. I really dig the way it moves. The band will release their debut album, Versions Of Modern Performance, on June 3.
ME REX – Jupiter Pluvius
ME REX just announced a new EP titled Plesiosaur – it’ll be out June 17. Everything they do is frenetic and catchy, so I’m looking forward to it. Side note, the band will be at SXSW.
Automatic – New Beginning
This track is a big mishmash of pop sounds, and it’s really working for me. Automatic will put out their new album, Excess, on June 24.
Bodega – Pillar On The Bridge Of You
In case you forgot, Bodega’s new album, Broken Equipment, is out this Friday, March 11. This little love tune is pretty endearing.
Annie Hamilton – Night Off
Here’s a shimmery new one from Annie Hamilton. Her upcoming album has a clever title – The Future Is Here But It Kinda Feels Like The Past – and it’ll be out May 20.
Spiritualized – The Mainline Song
Somewhere along the way I must have missed that the new Spiritualized album, Everything Was Beautiful, got bumped from February to April 22. Anyhow, here’s another sprawling number off of it.
King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard – The Dripping Tap
Please note that this track is 18 minutes long. Also, please note that it totally rips. King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard will release a double album, Omnium Gatherum, later this year.
Art d’Ecco – Palm Slave
Get yourself a dose of glam right here with this new single from Art d’Ecco. He’s got an album due out this year, but it doesn’t yet have a title or a release date. By the way, he’s playing SXSW.
Sunflower Bean – Roll The Dice
First of all, I’d like to catch Sunflower Bean at SXSW. Secondly, make sure you turn the volume way up for this anthem. The band’s new album, Headful Of Sugar, will be out on May 6.
Superorganism – Teenager (Featuring CHAI & Pi Ja Ma)
This track is all over the place and kind of weird, but I can’t get it out of my head. Superorganism’s new album, World Wide Pop, will be out on July 15.
