Dehd – Bad Love

What an infectious little number this is. Dehd are set to release their new album, Blues Skies, on May 27. Also, Austin-based folks, they’re playing Antone’s on May 13.

TV Priest – One Easy Thing

TV Priest just announced a new album but didn’t let slip a due date or a title. They did, however, drop this wonderfully weird single (and video) off of it.

Nilufer Yanya – Anotherlife

Have I mentioned that I’m really, really excited for Nilufer Yanya’s upcoming album, Painless? Thank whoever that it’s almost here – the release date is March 4. Side note, she’ll be in Austin at Antone’s on April 26.

Frog Eyes – When You Turn On The Light

Frog Eyes are no longer Soft Plastics, and they have a new album on the way – it’s called The Bees and it’ll be out April 29. This first single is lovely.

Widowspeak – The Jacket

These new Widowspeak tracks have been entrancing. Definitely looking forward to their new album, The Jacket, which is due out March 11. I may also need to catch their Austin play at the Mohawk on April 21.
