Saweetie & Doja Cat (Whitney)

I’ve been on the Doja Cat train since the viral YouTube days of Mooo! and how could any self-respecting millennial not fall in love with Saweetie’s nostalgia-laden beginnings like Icy Girl and My Type. With the release of Best Friend, Saweetie and Doja Cat have contributed a major bop to the growing list of pro-feminist rap anthems. Take a listen, and if you’re able to resist the urge to send it to all your BFFs, I’ll be impressed (but in a sad way).

PS – If this were the real world and we were able to still go out dancing, I think Best Friend followed by WAP might cause the floor to burst into flames.
