Quickdraw: Bully, Naked Giants, Twin Peaks, Gum Country, Lewsberg

Enjoy.

Bully – Where To Start

Bully’s third full length, SUGAREGG, is set to be released on August 21. Unsurprisingly, the first single is both catchy and fiery.

Naked Giants – Take A Chance

This track is really fun and reminds me a lot of the garage rock that I loved in college (early 2000s). Naked Giants will release The Shadow on August 21.

Twin Peaks – What’s The Matter

Kudos to Twin Peaks for some of the best flute-usage I’ve come across in 2020 – this new single of theirs is a delight. The band will release the Side A EP on July 3.

Gum Country – Talking To My Plants

The world is exactly one week away (June 19) from the release of Somewhere, the debut album from Gum Country! I fully expect it to be great. After you check out this fuzzily pleasant new single, jump on the other two.

Lewsberg – Through The Garden

Lewsberg have been one of my favorite new finds here in 2020, and if you haven’t yet spent some time with their album In This House, you should do that right away. Here you’ll find the A-side off a 7″ that the band just released – it’s a post punk winner.

“Best flute usage in 2020?” Thanks for the warning so I did not have to listen. :)

Naked Giants track is really good. Thx for it.
