Besnard LakesUntil In Excess, Imperceptible UFO is out now on Jagjaguwar.  The band will play Red 7 on November 22.

The Creases will release the I Won’t Wait 7″ on November 11 via Rough Trade.

Cut Copy

Spirtualized are very good, so of course I’d be interested in their tinkering of a Cut Copy track.  You can get the tune by grabbing the Free Your Mind single bundle (it also comes with the original track and a remix by Fort Romeau) now on iTunes, or you can wait for the album of the same name to drop on November 5 via Loma Vista/Modular.  Catch Cut Copy at Fun Fun Fun Fest next month.  Enjoy.

:Cut Copy – Free Your Mind (Spiritulaized Remix):  To be honest, if it wasn’t for this inspired and expansive reworking, I probably wouldn’t be “freeing any minds” today.  I find the original version to be a bit bland.  Or perhaps I just don’t get it.  You watch it in video form below and tell me.
