three friends as they leave behind their life of sex, drugs
and in decision and go on a path of self-discovery.
John McTieran has agreed to direct Shrapnel.
The film is said to follow two war veterans bent on finding
and killing each other.
Talk about crazy. It's the
trailer for Hobo With A Shotgun.
Stephen King's The Dark Tower series is being adapted
into a film trilogy and a TV show. Ron Howard will
direct. Akiva Goldsmith will produce.
Pixar is rumored to be interested in doing an animated
adaptation of the Marvel comic Doctor Strange.
Monsters now has a much better and more interesting
trailer. Check it out.
Christina Hendricks (Mad Men) has been cast in
Drive. Ryan Gosling is already set to star in the
movie about a stunt driver who doubles as a getaway driver.
Microsoft is said to be still hard at work on a Halo
movie.
The new
trailer for MegaMind almost seems
like a totally different movie. Weird.
Martin Freeman is supposedly in the midst of trying to work
out schedule issues so that he can play the role of Bilbo
Baggins in The Hobbit.
Michael Caine will join Dwayne Johnson in Journey 2: The
Mysterious Island. It's the sequel to Journey
To The Center Of The Earth. Sad.
I've actually never seen a Saw film ... and the
trailer for the upcoming entry doesn't
make me want to.
Despite having already started shooting, Liam Neeson has
been added to the cast of Peter Berg's Battleship.
Now that Angelina Jolie has officially turned it down,
Natalie Portman has reportedly been offered the highly
sought after role in Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity.
It's strange to me that Paul Bettany keeps getting cast in
action movies, but the
trailer for Priest is kind of fun.
Bruce Campbell has expressed interest in putting together a
horror version of The Expendables.
Joaquin Phoenix is said to be looking for roles now that his
mockumentary I'm Still Here is out.
So, Country Sound has a new
trailer. Fortunately, it shows the
entire movie so that you don't actually have to ever sit
through it.
Jeremy Renner (The Hurt Locker) is joining everything
these days. His latest project is Virtue Fall,
which also stars Eric Bana and deals with a federal agent
looking to get revenge on the partner who had him put in
prison.
A biopic for Ronald Reagen is currently in the scripting
stages.
