Side One: Track
One is a music blog that was started by John Laird in 2006
after he graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University
and had to stop being the Music Director at KSAU
90.1. Over the years the site has grown to include
actual readers, some guest writers, a podcast and a film
section, but it's still essentially about him (and friends)
sharing songs that someone out there might like. And? Well,
that's pretty much it.

In regards to the downloadable content on this site, it's
only available for roughly two weeks and it's never
archived. Still, If you are an artist (or
represent an artist) being featured on this blog and
want a song taken down,
contact John Laird, and it
will be removed as fast as possible. Nothing shared
here at Side One: Track One is meant to be malicious or
illegal, so trust us when we say it will be removed when
requested.
Please do not steal bandwidth by
hot/direct linking any of the files that are hosted
on this site.
Now, to sum all of this up, take a look at the beautiful Side
