Yuppies

Yesterday I stumbled across a song by Omaha’s Yuppies, and I ended up spending quite a bit of time reveling in its sloppy glory.  Now it’s your turn to do the same.  The track awaits you just below.  The band’s self titled debut is expected out September 15 via Dull Tools, which is run by Andrew Savage (of Parquet Courts fame).  Enjoy.

:Yuppies – Hitchin’ A Ride:  “I hope this is all just a fucked up dream!”  Not much is better than the way this line is desperately wailed over the song’s scatterbrained arrangement.  If you disagree, then you’re silly.
