Nothing makes my day like the arrival of a kinetic new single from Sorry, one of my favorite artists. Really hoping they announce a new album and a US tour this year.

Hotline TNT – Julia’s War

Hotline TNT’s last album, Cartwheel, was pretty dang great, so I’m really looking forward to the follow up – it’s titled Raspberry Moon and it’ll be out on June 20. Get a dose of fuzz with the first single here and – if you’re in Austin – grab tickets to see them (with Hippo Campus) at ACL Live on May 21.

HLLLYH – Dead Clade

The Mae Shi are back but they’re now called HLLLYH, which is the title of their final release that came out in 2008. This new-but-old band has also announced an album – URUBURU will be out on June 27. There’s a bit of a Superchunk vibe to this track, which I like a lot.
