Wednesday – Elderberry Wine

Wednesday are a bit of an enigma for me – I just never know what to expect from them, nor do I like the majority of what they put out. Still, when they get me, they really get me, as evidenced by my immediate fondness for this lovely number and its Waxahatchee-like vibe.

Hotline TNT – Break Right

Hotline TNT played in Austin this week. I didn’t go, but I probably should have since I’m really looking forward to their upcoming album, Raspberry Moon (due out June 20). Oh well. At least I’ve got this moody new single to lean on.

Forth Wanderers – 7 Months

Well look at that, Forth Wanderers are back with a new album, their first since their 2018 – it’s called The Longer This Goes Out and it’ll be out on July 18. Maybe it’s just because it’s new, but this is already registering in my head as one of their best tunes.

Pulp – Got To Have Love

This is a total banger from Pulp, and I fully expect to wear it out across the long holiday weekend that we’re heading into. The band will release an album titled More on June 6.

MSPAINT – Drift

Every MSPAINT song just straight up gets me going, and I really love that about them. The band’s new EP, No Separation, is out tomorrow, May 23.
