Superheaven – Cruel Times

Here’s a nice slice of alt-rock from Superheaven, who will put out their first album in 10 years – a self-titled affair – on April 18. Also, if you’re in Austin, they just announced a show at Emo’s for May 8.

Triathalon – RIP

This is a sprawling but cozy number from Triathalon, and I’m really into it. The band will release an album titled Funeral Music on May 16.

Suki Waterhouse – Dream Woman

I’ve really come around on Suki Waterhouse – her 2024 album, Memoir Of A Sparklemuffin, was super solid, and I think this new Lana Del Rey-esque track is as well. Maybe I’ll try to catch her at the upcoming Coca-Cola Sips & Sounds Festival here in Austin.
