Well look at that, Marnie Stern has readied her first album in a decade – The Comeback Kid (such an appropriate title) will be out on November 3. I totally figured she had permanently shelved her solo career, so this is a legit pleasant surprise! Judging by this first single, its sounds like she’s still got that colorful burst that made me dig her all those years ago.

Chaos Takes The Wheel And I Am A Passenger is the name of the new Awakebutstillinbed album that’s set to be released on October 20. Jump on their latest emo number here. For the Austin-based folks, the band is playing the Electric Church on October 22.
