The Hives – Bogus Operandi

The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons is the title of The Hives’ first new album since 2012’s Lex Hives, and it’ll be out on August 11. They still sound like they’re having more fun than anyone else.

Rob I. Miller – The One

Rob I. Miller (of Blues Lawyer) has a solo debut, Companion Piece, that’s coming out on May 12. There’s a great 90s-lean to this new single.

Sweeping Promises – Eraser

Here’s a lo-fi gem off Sweeping Promises’ newly announced album, Good Living Is Coming For You (due out June 30). For those in Austin, they’re playing Empire on September 26.

Cable Ties – Change

For some reason I was thinking that the new Cable Ties album, All Her Plans, was out this month, but it’s actually set to be released on the way far away date of June 23. Oh well. At least there’s another great single to check out.

Knower – I’m The President

Louis Cole and Genevieve Artadi are back together as Knower, and they’ve got a new album, Knower Forever, coming on June 2. I really dig this bouncy, weirdo track.
