Quickdraw: Squid, Indigo De Souza, Yo La Tengo, Shalom, The Lost Days

Enjoy.

Squid – Swing (In A Dream)

Squid have readied a follow-up to their excellent debut, Bright Green Field – it’s called O Monolith and it’ll be out on June 9. They seem like they’ve turned the post punk dial down a bit here, but I’m into the more airy approach.

Indigo De Souza – Younger & Dumber

Man, this new Indigo De Souza single is a slow burning stunner. Her upcoming album is titled All Of This Will End and it’s due out on April 28. By the way, she’ll be in Austin for SXSW.

Yo La Tengo – Sinatra Drive Breakdown

Don’t forget – the new Yo La Tengo album, This Stupid World, is out this Friday, February 9. Now, here’s a seven and a half minutes of sprawling indie rock.

Shalom – Soccer Mommy

Here’s a clever and catchy slice of indie rock from Shalom. Her new album, Sublimation, will be out on March 10.

The Lost Days – In The Store

Tony Molina and Sarah Rose Janko are The Lost Days, and their new album, In The Store, will be out on March 17. This single is kind of a bummer, but it sure sounds great.
