Belle And Sebastian – Unnecessary Drama

The unkempt harmonica here nearly turned me off, but overall the track is just too dang catchy to not like. Belle And Sebastian will release A Bit Of Previous, their first album in seven years, on May 6.

Nilufer Yanya – The Dealer

Don’t forget that Nilufer Yanya’s highly anticipated album, Painless, is out tomorrow, March 4. You should definitely spend the weekend with it. Also, if you’re in Austin, buy a ticket for her show at Antone’s on April 26.

Fanclubwallet – Gr8 Timing

Here’s an infectious number from Fanclubwallet, who will be releasing their debut album, You Have To Be Kidding Me, on May 20. By the way, the band will be at SXSW.

Iceage – Pull Up (Abra Cover)

It’s weird that Iceage covered this Abra track, as it just seems way out of left field for them, but I do think it’s pretty well done.

Momma – Rockstar

I really like the 90s-lean on this new one from Momma. Here’s hoping they announce an album soon.

The Linda Lindas – Talking To Myself

Hey look, it’s another really catchy tune from The Linda Lindas. Seems like their impending debut, Growing Up (due out April 8), is going to be a really fun one.
