Lucy Dacus – Hot & Heavy

Lucy Dacus just announced an album, Home Video, and it’s set to be released on June 25! I love this shimmery, driving new one from it. Also, I’m pumped to see that Thumbs – a total slow burner she recently put out – made the cut.

Ducks Ltd. – As Big As All Outside

Here’s a rather jangly number from Ducks Ltd. The band just signed to Carpark Records, and their Get Bleak EP is getting reissued on May 21.

Japanese Breakfast – Posing In Bondage

This is a heck of a ballad (and video) from Japanese Breakfast. Her new album, Jubilee, is due out on June 4.

Darkside – The Limit

Darkside’s sophomore effort is titled Spiral, and it’s coming out on July 23. I definitely recommend headphones for this intricate track!

NOV3L – Notice Of Foreclosure

This NOV3L track touches on a lot of sounds – post punk, new wave, pop – and I really dig it. Their album, Non-Fiction, will be out on May 28.
