Guided By Voices – Trust Them Now / Free Agents

A new Guided By Voices album is so commonplace these days (they’ve put out six in the last two years) that I get it if you don’t immediately get pumped about another one being on the way. With that being said, I do think the band’s 33rd LP, Earth Man Blues (due April 30), belongs on your radar, as the first two singles have been great.

Florence Shaw’s spoken vocals continue to hit the spot here in 2021. Dry Cleaning will release their debut album, New Long Leg, this Friday!

Man On Man – Stohner

In case you missed my last mention of them, Man On Man is made up of (Roddy Bottum of Faith No More + Joey Holman), and their self titled debut is due out on May 7. This new release is a real nice slice of shoegaze.
