Caroline Rose – Feel The Way I Want

And just like that, Caroline Rose has shot right to the top of my anticipated 2020 albums list.  The new LP is titled Superstar (due March 6), and its first single is super catchy.  By the way, if you missed out on her last effort, Loner, you should give it a listen.  Also, she’s playing Antone’s on April 26!

Criteria – Agitate Resuscitate

I would have bet money that Criteria were gone forever, but here they are with Years (due January 17), which is the follow up to 2005’s En Garde.  Perhaps what’s even more surprising is that they don’t at all sound like a band that last released an album a decade and a half ago.

Wednesday – November

I’m new to Wednesday, but I’m already real into them.  Frontwoman Karly Hartzman has a great voice, and this atmospheric track is a winner.  Their album, I Was Trying To Describe You To Someone, will be out on February 7.
