Quickdraw: Weakened Friends, Chastity Belt, Corridor, Belle & Sebastian, Bruno Bavota

Enjoy.

Weakened Friends – What You Like

Weakened Friends are about to hit the road (what’s with no Austin date?), so they’ve rolled out a new track.  Like pretty much all of their 2018 release, Common Blah, this one is fierce.

Chastity Belt – Drown

All of the Chastity Belt singles have been really good, so I’m feeling like their upcoming self titled album is likely to be one of my favorites of 2019.  Look for it when it gets released on September 20.

Corridor – Topography

I’m new to Corridor, but I’m already really into them.  This video is charming, and the song itself features some stellar production.  Definitely looking forward to checking out their new album (and first for Sub Pop), Junior, when it’s released on October 18.

Belle & Sebastian – This Letter

It’s Belle & Sebastian, so of course this track is just super easy on the ears.  I recommend tossing on headphones and staring out a window while you listen.  This is from the soundtrack that the band crafted for the film Days Of The Bagnold Summer – it will be available this this Friday.

Bruno Bavota – Attesa

Here’s the latest single off of Bruno Bavota’s upcoming album, Get Lost (due October 4).  He makes some very compelling and interesting stuff, and I can’t wait to hear the entire LP.
