Moonface – Walk The Circle In The Other Direction

Spencer Krug is putting the Moonface moniker away forever, but just before that happens he’s releasing one more album.  Judging by the first single, it’s going to be a sprawling effort.  Look for This One’s For The Dancer & This One’s For The Dancer’s Bouquet on November 2.

Cloud Nothings – So Right So Clean

Here’s a slow burner from Cloud Nothings.  Their new album, Last Building Burning, is due out October 19, and I’m expecting it to be great.  By the way, the band will be at Barracuda on October 27.

Secret Machines – Everything Is free (Gillian Welch Cover)

If you’re a fan of Secret Machines’ Ten Silver Drops, then you should get in on Run Out Groove’s reissue of it.  The album was released way back in 2006, and it’s been out of print on vinyl for the majority of those years.  Act now!  Seriously, act now because the deadline to pre-order the album is today.  On a related note, the reissue comes with some b-sides and rarities.  Check out one here – it’s a Gillian Welch cover that’s fantastic.
