Dang. This new tune from Death Cab For Cutie is surprisingly good. Easily the slickest they’ve sounded in a long time. The band’s first album without Chris Walla is called Thank You For Today and it’s due out August 17.
Mirah – Hot Hot
Like Death Cab up above, Mirah sounds super slick here. I’m going to have to check out her upcoming album, Understanding, which is due out on September 7.
Protomartyr – You Always Win
Protomartyr’s Consolation EP is currently available, and I’m using the latest single off of it to remind you that you have to listen to it. They’re the best.
