Filthy Friends

While I would prefer that she churn out another album with Sleater Kinney, I am pumped to see that Corin Tucker has a new project.  It’s called Filthy Friends, and it also features R.E.M.‘s Peter Buck and Bill Rieflin, Minus 5′ Scott McCaughey, and Fastbacks’ Kurt Bloch.  Neat!  Today I’m sharing the indie rockers’ first handful of tracks – two are from a Record Store Day 7″, and one is from a political comp called 30 Days, 30 Songs.  Turn ’em up.  Enjoy.
