Albert Hammond Jr.

While I’m not in the camp that thinks the return of The Strokes has been entirely disappointing, I wouldn’t mind if Albert Hammond Jr.’s new solo EP was the first in another run of side projects.  Those guys seem to do well on their own.  Anyhow, Albert recently put out the AHJ EP via Julian Casablanca’s Cult Records.  You can check out two songs below.  Enjoy.

:Albert Hammond Jr. – Rude Customer:  Those of you who are big fans of the Strokes’ early work will instantly like this.  The frenetic guitar work and filtered vocals make it sound a lot like those first few hits that they had.
