Joanna Gruesome

I’m just going to go ahead and assume that Joanna Gruesome is a play on Joanna Newsom, which is sort of hilarious to me.  And yes, I’m well aware that’s just totally silly on my part.  Anyhow, the Cardiff-based band will release Weird Sister on September 10 via the always stellar Slumberland.

:Joanna Gruesome – Secret Surprise:  I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve listened to this song.  The less than three minute run time means it starts repeating before I know it, and then there’s the fact that I can’t get over how raucous and catchy it is.
