Why?

Why? are taking an aggressive approach to getting back into the swing of things, and that makes me happy.  Earlier this year they released the Sod In The Seed EP, now there’s a full length titled Mumps, Etc, which is due out October 9 via Anticon.  The band also just started a tour (they’ll be in Austin for Fun Fun Fun Fest) that will have them out and about through the first part of November.  Check out the dates here.  Enjoy.

:Why? – Jonathan’s Hope:  This track is a great example of what the band does best.   The music is simple, yet experimental, and frontman Yoni Wolf spends every possible moment tossing out a lyrical collage made up of harsh truths and random observations.  I’ll forever dig it.
